Account and Backup

Your login, your language and a full copy of your data are all kept simple.

Change your password

  1. Click Change Password in the menu.
  2. Enter your current password, then the new password twice.
  3. Submit.

Forgot your password? There is no self-service reset. Contact your accountant, who sets a new one for you. Ask to be told the new password by phone or a separate message, not together with your login.

Download a full backup

Click Daily Backup in the menu. You get one ZIP file named FiscFort-Odoo-export-YYYYMMDD.zip, with your records as spreadsheets and your original documents. It opens in any spreadsheet program, now and in the future. It is made again every night, so the file is never more than a day old.

Your data is yours. Keep a copy of this backup somewhere safe from time to time.

Language

Use EN or AR at the top to switch between English and Arabic. Arabic shows right to left. Reports and PDFs can be downloaded in either language.

Put the portal on your phone

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open your portal link in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
  3. Tap Install or Add to Home screen, then confirm.

iPhone (Safari only)

Chrome on iPhone cannot install it. Use Safari.

  1. Open your portal link in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen, then confirm.

Getting help

For your figures, books or filings, ask your accountant. For a problem with the portal, write to support [at] fiscfort.com.

For accountants

  • Resetting a customer's password: Odoo, Settings, Users, open the customer user, gear icon, Change Password. The group Accountant - Manage Customer Users allows this and excludes the admin user's record.
  • Company data (legal name, VAT, CR number, address, bank account) is set only by the accountant in Odoo, never by the customer. The Oman VAT number is OM plus 10 digits, the CR number 7 digits, and the Tax Registration Number 7 digits.
  • The nightly export is a cron job per tenant. The old file is deleted only after the new one is written.
